Golgotha's Terrain - Huts

Herewith, some huts. These are relatively generic and therefore suitable for a number of settings and periods, Ideal especially for Colonial engagements and games like Congo etc. I have further made them a size that would be equally suitable for 20mm 1/72 or 28mm. I used straw mats to detail the outside of the round containers, roofs are towel fabric glued on using Mod Podge which because it dries quickly and is less likely to warp was better than white glue. I made four huts in total each one a slightly different size and appearance. I will likely be adding some other terrain bits as well as maybe some pots and the like as well as a palisade fence.

Here Ruga-Ruga by HaT miniatures in 1/72 provide a sense of scale. See: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1786

These following two pictures show Ancient Nubians, see: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=564

I imagine this the largest of the lot as the chiefs hut. Rather like the outer pillar design providing more roof and shade.

See some huts by Digits, including the nice addition of some monkeys here:
