Idea to make realistic looking fairy wings.
Found dead dragonfly mounted its wings on clear card with Mod Podge and then added gloss varnish just need to find suitable miniature to mount them on. Pretty happy with result still relatively see through and now strong and robust.
Interesting find and should be very interesting to see what you use them on.
ReplyDeleteI’d have to fight my youngest cat for the dragon flies. I’ve used real plant parts in the past. Natural stuff does look more natural.
ReplyDeleteFinding a steady supply of those might be a challenge! They look pretty amazing, though! Perhaps a colored wash to make them more visible?
ReplyDeleteCheers chaps yeah not every day one wonders on such a fine specimen of a dragonfly. Really need find suitable mini there is one by Reaper minis that may well work. Your cat sounds like mine Trev I have a large Mancoon.
