Herewith a Setting the East Ablaze Back and Beyond Wargame.
Rough map of the idea for the game.
Objectives for the Whites and Reds.
Elite Cossacks' glorious final charge - this unit was ultimately annihilated.
The Reds had a really difficult time as off-board artillery incredibly destroyed their army commanders twice placing the entire Red Army into a spin of indecision and indecisiveness.
More White cavalry apply pressure on the weakening Red Lines and effectively supporting the White armour unit of Renault 17s.
Reds failed to push forward across the river and when they did it was met with ensuring chaos on the bridge as Red infantry reeled in the face of White cavalry and effective fir from the armoured train.
This ruined town never came under any serious Red threat which was just as well as these units were low on ammunition as part of the scenario and needed to be resipplied.
Thre train would ultimately be able to cross the bridge causing even some Red infantry to jump into the river one of which weighed down by his heavy coat drowned.
The Reds showing some of the increasingly devastating artillery they were being subject too this did not help matters and Red morale suffered considerably.
The Red navy fared little better and came under some suprisingly accurate rocket fire.
The White camp showing command vehicles and medical unit.
Epic moment during the game when the Red Spad shot down the White observation balloon.
Some more pictures of the game.
