1/144 scale modern aircraft and helicopters

 These are good price and go together very easily detail is not terrible. Ideal really for likes Team Yankee and as wargame models. 

Harbin Z9 Chinese Helicopter, Russian navy Sukhoi SU 33. Mi 24 Hinds, etc.

 

First blood Battletech campaign starts

 3 way free for all game with at least no victors.  Clan Vulture did get nose bloodied what with 3 mechs being knocked out during game play and second Mad Cat sent into retreat. My Nova drew first blood by walking up to Warhawk overheating and annihilating it the Masakari then finished it off with a death blow.

After battle report by the campaign organiser read as follows: 

"First campgain game the first clashes on the path of Steel. Three way game, clank snow raven, clan vulture and the Yellow Jacket Mercs all took to the field. Fighting was intense, the clanners decided honour between them was not satisfied and beat each other bloody while the yellow Jackets hung back, not wanting to get caught between two opposing forces. I the end, no force secured their objectives from command. Clan Vulture lost three mechs, a fire moth though the pilot escaped. A nova which the pilot was injured, and a mighty timber wolf of 'Cranky', suffering a major head wound (-1 skill) Snow raven suffered significant damage, and the loss of one assault mech, the pilot suffering a 3rd degree burn on their ejection (misses next game). The yellow Jackets lost no mechs, careful to husband their hardware against clan tech, but suffered major damage to 'Glitchs' Vindicator who managed to bring down 'Crankys' timber wolf with a PPC shot to the back. Other mechs suffered damage but will be promptly repaired, ready for their next action."

Poor Sgt. Cranky he wasn't all there to begin with and now he will never be the same again... he will certainly be out for revenge. Rogered from the rear... how embarrassing...

Just glad that my female Fire Moth pilot Twix survived.

First blood of the campaign goes to me and Clan Vulture. Wiped out this Masakari Warhawk T, believe the outcome was injured.

British Paratroopers Part 1

 First few Brit Paras painted. Have few more to do and then finish them all off. Happy thus far with result. The minis are actually British commandos even includes bag pipes chap I assume based on William Millan of 1st special Service Brigade. Figured Paras be more useful for my games than commandos.
