Wycombe Warband - Xenos Rampant Wargame
Played Xenos Rampant at the local club. Had a fun game.
Though the elite infantry don't make much sense, unarmed cheaper aliens proved a much better option. Would have liked longer-ranged weapons and the vehicles in this case two large mechs seemed a tad underpowered. Certainly more stuff gets to move than in the usual Rampant game and the side I was playing on actually got to advance across the table during the course of the game. Only more games will tell... which is likely given that Rampant games are popular at the club.
